## Playwright check suites in private locations

Agent 6.1.0 lets you run Playwright check suites (beta) in private locations, alongside all 22 public locations, and supports both the `2024.09` and `2025.04` runtimes. Dependency and browser caching can speed up runs: it is disabled by default (`DEPENDENCY_CACHE=OFF`) and enabled with `DEPENDENCY_CACHE=CHECKLY_S3`. Node.js is now bundled with the agent instead of pulled from the public internet, and cURL proxy environment variables including `HTTPS_PROXY` and `ALL_PROXY` are supported.

## Smaller images, better debugging

The Docker image size dropped from 2.24GB to 1.42GB compressed, runs from arbitrary user IDs are supported for security compliance, all known npm vulnerabilities are patched, and artifact upload now has built-in retries. Set `DEBUG=checkly:*` for detailed internal command logs (use with caution, as logs may expose secrets). The automatic RAM check is now disabled by default and can be re-enabled with `ENABLE_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT: true`.
