# Playwright Reporter to navigate flaky, slow and failing tests

Published Nov 17, 2025

## Playwright results in Checkly, from anywhere your tests run

The new Playwright Reporter, now in Beta and free to use, displays vanilla Playwright results in Checkly with quick access to all assets, including videos, traces, snapshots, and screenshots. Spot error groups within your suite, identify slow tests, and navigate projects as a tree or flat view. It is especially useful in CI/CD, where accessing the right assets from GitHub Actions can be tricky.

```
npx playwright test
```

## Setup in a few minutes

Add `@checkly/playwright-reporter` to the reporters in your `playwright.config.*` (with `json` listed before it), export `CHECKLY_API_KEY` and `CHECKLY_ACCOUNT_ID` as environment variables, and run `npx playwright test` as usual. You get a link to the result in Checkly for each run. Known beta limitations: uploaded data is not secret-scrubbed in the UI, and per-test metrics across suite runs are not yet available.
