## Checkly Traces are GA

Checkly Traces connects synthetic monitoring with distributed tracing, helping you pinpoint failures instantly, reduce troubleshooting time, and lower storage and egress costs by capturing only what matters. It integrates with OpenTelemetry.

## TCP checks in open beta

TCP checks are now available in open beta for all plans. Use them to monitor infrastructure components by specifying a hostname or IP address and the TCP port to target.

## Improved code imports
