Setting up multi-factor authentication
- Go to Settings > User settings > Security.
- In the Multi-Factor Authentication card, click Add, then Re-authenticate & Enable, and sign in again when prompted. Your sessions on other devices are signed out.
- Log out of your account and log back in.
- When prompted, scan the QR code using one of the supported apps:
- Twilio Authy (Google Play / App Store)
- Auth0 Guardian (Google Play / App Store)
- Google Authenticator (Google Play / App Store)
- Microsoft Authenticator (Google Play / App Store)
- Enter the code provided by your authenticator app.
- Record your recovery code, you can use this to log in if you temporarily lose access to your authenticator app.
Removing or changing MFA
- To stop using MFA, go to Settings > User settings > Security. In the Multi-Factor Authentication card, click Delete, then Re-authenticate & Disable, and sign in again when prompted.
- If you have lost access to your authenticator app or removed the Checkly configuration from it, contact support@checklyhq.com for help with resetting your configuration.
