TCP checks move to open beta with new features
TCP checks are now in open beta for all plan types. Monitor infrastructure components like databases, message queues, and mail servers. You can configure TCP checks in the UI, via the CLI (v4.19.1), and via the Terraform provider (v1.9.0); Pulumi support is in development.
New capabilities
Alongside private location support (from Checkly agent v4.0.3) and an IP family selector, TCP checks gained assertions on response time and response data, data exchange for sending data to the target port, and a "this request should fail" option that marks a check as passed when the connection fails, for testing intentional unreachability.
